It all started with Wisconsin Red, an heirloom dahlia that originated near Appleton, WI as a pass-along plant. After my mother and I had grown this variety for some years I realized that there were so many other dahlias I could be growing, too. Along came Café au Lait and other great classics such as Peaches N Cream, Larks Ebbe, and Jowey Hubert. Now, I grow over 150 varieties of dahlia as well as other great cutting garden classics.
