This is a small pre-sale with less than 35 varieties. While there may be 20 of some varieties, others may only have a couple. But, all the tubers in this sale have all been checked and are doing well. We’ll have a restock in March with all the remaining tubers, once we are certain they are sprouting. There may even be a few new varieties at that time.

Hi! Christine & John here…Our family owned suburban micro-farm is located in Northeast Ohio. We began this journey in 2021 like many of you, by becoming completely enthralled in Dahlia. We are amazed every day when we walk out to the garden and see these majestic dahlia blooms blowing in the breeze. We started with just a handful of dahlia placed here and there, and then quickly grew to a nearly 450 plant garden. Christine has been involved one way or another with plants for many years, either indoor or out. It is no surprise that we are on this journey.

Little Petal Flowers began as a hobby that soon manifested into something much bigger. Over the last 9 years I have been a full-time veterinarian, thoroughly immersed in medicine and the care of my patients. Gardening was a means of transporting myself to a place of calm and serenity. I soon found that I would escape to the garden at every possible opportunity, and that I was most happy when surrounded by plants and flowers. I would make bouquets or arrangements using flowers I had cut from my garden, and keep them around the house or give them to friends and coworkers. It became clear that I had found another passion in my life in this world of flowers.
The more I learn about the process of growing and farming flowers, and the immense benefit it provides our ecosystem, the more fascinated I’ve become. The philosophy behind everything grown here is to promote a regenerative, sustainable environment without the use of chemical pesticides or single-use plastics. This approach provides a sustainable habitat for a biodiverse group of both predatory and beneficial creatures, including pollinators and native wildlife.
From beautiful bouquets to straight bunches, it brings me so much joy to see the wave of happiness and excitement wash over someone’s face when given a bouquet. My father has always called me his “Little Petal” as an endearing nickname ever since I was an infant. With my petite stature of 5’0″ as a grown adult, his original assessment was correct in both referring to me as “little” and a “flower petal”. It seems that working with flowers was destined for me as he now claims to have “prophesied”.
